Welcome to Trickling Falls Country Emporium

Where the Irreplaceable Meets the Irresistible

Tired of seeing the same mass-produced goods everywhere, with nothing that truly stands out? At Country Emporium, we do things differently. Every product we offer comes from a place of passion, craftsmanship, and creativity — made to bring back that feeling of connection between people and the things they own.

Step into A Familiar Flame, where scent meets memory. From rich, earthy tones to sweet, floral notes, our soy-based melts, diffusers, and spritzers are crafted to elevate your space from “meh” to memorable.

Soon, you’ll be able to explore Rusty Blades Woodshop, where the warmth and character of real wood come to life. Every handcrafted piece — whether it’s a rustic table, picture frame, or custom shelf — is built with care and made to last.

For the collectors and old souls, Dusty Garrett Collectables offers “A Touch of Nostalgia.” Discover vintage treasures and memorabilia that carry stories from a simpler time — perfect for your home or as meaningful gifts that stand apart from the ordinary.

And if you’re drawn to visual storytelling, Fresh Perspective Photography captures the world in a new light. From nature’s raw beauty to artistic compositions, each piece freezes emotion and story into every frame.

And it all started out as a little cabin by the woods

Trickling Falls is

Tucked away in southern Indiana near Bedford, it sits on just five acres of land — a small piece of the world, but full of character and hidden beauty. The canyon like topography and quiet corners can’t be seen from the road, making it a true hidden gem.

For now, Trickling Falls is closed to the public — turns out, the insurance costs for letting folks wander around a place this unique are, well… ridiculously high. We wish we could invite everyone to experience it firsthand, but for now, photos will have to do.

Looking ahead, we hope to open the property for portrait sessions where you can use these natural features as one-of-a-kind backdrops. You’ll be able to bring your own photographer and capture something truly special. If all goes well, we plan to add a changing area and restroom facility for comfort and convenience.

Until then, the gates stay closed — but the dream stays alive.

Looking Ahead

Trickling Falls Country Emporium is still in its early stages — a “brick and mortar” dream in the making. One day, it’ll be more than just a website; it’ll be a destination. Our goal is to create a spot where outdoor recreation enthusiasts, travelers, and locals can stop in, rest, and recharge.

The vision includes camping, hiking, biking, canoeing, kayaking, and even canyaking (yes, that’s a canoe used like a kayak!). We hope to offer gear and essentials for every kind of outdoor adventurer — from quick weekend trips to multi-day treks. Expect a variety of supplies: dehydrated and canned camp food, water, single-serve OTC meds, and plenty of those “Oh no, I forgot to pack that!” items.

Down the road, we’d love to add hostel-style bunks and gear hooks for hikers, bikers, and paddlers who need a simple place to rest — no frills, just function. A shuttle service for through-travelers is also in the mix, and maybe even a small café-style eatery for good conversation and a hot bite after a long trail.

It’s a big dream running on a shoestring budget, but every journey starts somewhere. You can help bring this vision to life by becoming a member (launching January 2026), or by supporting us through your purchases and feedback. With your help — and finding a good “location, location, location!” — this dream might just take root.

All comments are welcome — as long as they’re creative and have a point. Criticism, on the other hand, will be politely ignored (we’ve learned it’s often just jealousy in disguise).

If you enjoy what we’re doing, we’d love to hear from you! Visit the Contact section and let us know what you like or what you’d love to see next. We realize we can’t please everyone — and that’s okay. If our style isn’t your cup of tea, there’s a whole world of other places to explore.

For those who do stick around, thank you. We promise to keep doing our best, introducing new features, products, and ideas as we grow. So check back often — the story of Trickling Falls Country Emporium is just getting started.

“No matter how fast or slow your day seems, they all pass at the speed of life.
It doesn’t matter how good or bad it gets — don’t let a day go by without really living it.
If that doesn’t make sense… you’re doing it wrong.
Live for the enjoyment of life, not something else.”
A Thought from Skinny

What’s Happening Now — and What’s Coming Next

A Familiar Flame is currently producing wax melts, scent beads, diffusers, and room sprays. We’re still ramping up production, so many of our fragrances haven’t hit the website just yet — but they’re coming! Thanks for your patience as we grow, and be sure to check back often to see what’s new.

Rusty Blades Woodshop, LLC is in the works (and yes, the building is taking more time and money than expected). We’re aiming to showcase our first pieces — picture frames, mirrors, wall shelves, and other handcrafted home items — online by October 2025 (Actually it will be 2026 late spring before this dream becomes reality). Everything is made from real wood for durability and sustainability, designed to stay out of landfills and reduce the waste caused by disposable goods. We’ll also accept bulk production orders — just contact us to cut out the details.

Fresh Perspective Photography will begin offering digital downloads and art prints by Spring 2026. Most pieces will feature the work of local photographers promoting their artistry, along with select prints from other vendors. Standard sizes will start at 8×10 and 16×20. By mid summer 2026, we’ll also be available for advertising, product, and business photography. If you like the visuals on this site, reach out — we’d love to work with you or connect you with one of our contributing photographers.

Skinny’s 411, LLC — visit skinnys411.com and his YouTube channel — These sites tie everything together with real-world adventures, outdoor gear reviews, hiking and paddling routes, campsite and trail spotlights, memberships for outdoor gatherings & prizes, and the occasional “Fireside Rant.” It’s good, honest entertainment you didn’t realize you needed.

The Creative Cabin is another dream taking shape under the Trickling Falls umbrella — a place where you can try out a craft or pick up a new skill. Designed for multipotentialities, the curious and the creative alike, classes will be 2 to 3 hours each and offered at beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels across five weekday subjects:

  • Scent Items (Mixology)

  • Wax Items (Candles & Such)

  • Wood Product Assembly (Sticks)

  • Acrylic Painting (Artistry)

  • Food Preparation (Culinary)

These sessions are meant for fun and experience — a chance to learn something new and meet others who love creating. More details will come as we move closer to opening day!

The Heart of Trickling Falls

At the end of the day, everything we do here at Trickling Falls Country Emporium comes down to one thing — creating, sharing, and growing with purpose. Whether it’s a handcrafted product, a captured photograph, or a simple story shared from the trail, we’re building something that feels real. It’s not about being the biggest — it’s about being meaningful.

We invite you to be part of that journey. Watch us grow, lend your ideas, and help shape what comes next. Because around here, every spark of creativity, every scent, and every story starts the same way — with a little heart and a whole lot of passion.
