  • A Familiar Flame wax melt use. Remove 2 cubes from clamshell by slightly bending the container along the “flex” points of the cubes to create a break in the wax. Apply pressure to the bottom of cube container allowing one or two cubes to “rise” from its tray. Take the raised cubes from the container and place them onto your wax melter dish. Wipe fingertips as they may be slick from waxy residue. As the scent fades some, shut off wax warmer, allow wax to cool and then add a third cube to the melter plate (be careful as to not splash yourself with hot wax if you decide not to allow the wax to cool before you add the cube). When the scent mostly or completely fades, allow the wax to cool until firm throughout. Remove the wax from the dish using the recommended procedure found in most wax melter operating booklets or use an online source for different ways to clean your melter dish. (Wax longevity depends upon the scent load “strength” and your warmers operating temperature. The hotter your warmer gets, the less time wax can hold aroma oils, which causes some scents to dissipate faster and change the aroma of the melt since some oils have a lower flash point than others.

  • Unbeknownst to most people, there are some individuals who can be allergic or very sensitive to scents and thus have trouble breathing when near a burning candle, wax melter, from any scented product, or only certain scents. If you have trouble breathing near the scented product, shut it off, blow it out, get away from it, open a window, or move to another area less affected by the smelly smell of someth……

  • Dusty Garret has to admit that some of the antiques he sells may contain trace amounts of chemicals from the manufacturing of their time (era). We wish no harm to our patrons and thus clean the pre-owned items as best we can. Since it is difficult to know what process the product were created with, Trickling Falls and Dusty CAN NOT guarantee the manufacturing process of antique products. And as such, you should know your purchase is “at your own risk” for all preowned and antique products on this website. Otherwise, antiques and preowned items are a classy and functional way to upcycle many items you cannot find on today’s market!

  • Rusty Blades wants you to know that the utmost care is used in the creation of his wood products. And as much as we try, wood is wood. There will be splinters and sharp edges (it’s just real woods nature). Sanding is no guarantee that wood products will be splinter free. We use “off the shelf” stains, paints and sealers for the best finish on our products. Our wood is sawn locally in southern Indiana. It is air and / or kiln dried. Rusty’s production items are tested for durability to withstand minor mishandling along with tolerance of children and their antics. Remember, glass is sharp and avoidance of breaking it is highly recommended.

  • All items are priced before shipping (we try our best to keep your shipping cost low) and sales tax (7% Indiana sales tax).
