There seems to be a group of people with nothing better to do than go around letting air out of SUV tires because they use soooo much gas. I guess if you need to make a point pissing people off is the best way to do it, you know, so they will really want to join your cause! And I had higher hopes for humanity. (can you smell the sarcasm). I bet they didn’t get to their destinations on a bicycle, in an EV, or even by horse! I hear they are from the UK, so I guess they didn’t walk here either. Kind of removes legitimacy for your cause if you use any type of oil powered transportation! And when I say oil, I mean;

From the gasoline in our cars to the plastic in countless everyday items, crude oil is an essential raw material that shows up everywhere in our lives. With around 18 million barrels of crude oil consumed every day just in America, this commodity powers transport, utilities, and is a vital ingredient in many of the things we use on a daily basis. So, how much crude oil is refined into various finished products? Using a barrel of oil to represent the proportional breakdown.
Crude oil is primarily refined into various types of fuels to power transport and vital utilities. More than 85% of crude oil is refined into fuels like gasoline, diesel, and hydrocarbon gas liquids (HGLs) like propane and butane. Along with being fuels for transportation, heating, and cooking, HGLs are used as feedstock for the production of chemicals, plastics, and synthetic rubber, and as additives for motor gasoline production.

So here’s my question. If the majority of crude oil goes to transportation fuels, who’s to say oil companies will really care if manufacturers get the necessary product for production? A cell phone (how much metal is really in there)? The tires for all the EV’s we will be forced to buy. OH, and I bet the EV itself is probably 80% plastic (which is made from….). You get the point? So, unless these climate screamers want to walk everywhere actually talking to humans face to face, or better yet, never have anything with the name “digital” associated with it, these dimwits should reconsider the point of their poorly executed agenda. I’ll bet the solar panels powering the jet that brought them across the big pond were made using 100% electricity, and not any fossil fuels! Because you know ALL power generators are magically made using electricity from a renewable fuel source like unicorn fart bubbles! And not just any unicorn, one with a really big alicorn! Sorry, squirrel……
I’ll just give you my answer to the question, did you have to go back and reread it? They won’t care, period. If the majority of their revenue disappears, they will too! Also, that means there will be NO MORE oil by-products left to use in the production of ALL creature comforts we have all come to expect (sadly) and enjoy! That’s right, we should get rid of gasoline, diesel, propane, and natural gas just to see how electricity will make life so much better!! HA, YOU CAN’T!! Solar panels are not 100% non-oil produced or transported to location and set up, wind turbines are not either. Water sounds like a great way to produce power, although those turbines are humongous and, well, aren’t made from unicorn snot either! They are all produced using oil, coal, and a variety of other resources that make big holes in the ground and contaminate your drinking water! How do you like only using electricity now? Oh, I forgot, those holes and problem water sources are mainly found in other countries, not here! I guess you can feel better about saving the planet since you can’t directly see how electric powered everything is destroying our environment!
Whether you like it or not, fossil fuels will remain a huge part of your life, otherwise you will die. How’s that for a kick to the groin. The only way to stop using fossil fuels entirely is to stop living a modern lifestyle and revert back to the 15th century. Do you really want that? (That’s a rhetorical question, please don’t answer it aloud especially if you are around other people). Metal, plastic, glass, rubber, along with many other products like herbicides, pesticides, as well as fertilizers are all produced, transported and used in the fields, along with genetically modified seeds (GMO, yet another rant), via the direct use of fossil fuels.
So, in conclusion to this “in one breath” reading, please realize we must learn to live with fossil fuels, or suffer consequences. There are better alternatives to this way of life, but evidence of such creatures has been removed from the internet. And since nobody reads books, print form is obscure to many as well.
